Call of the Mountains 2017

Call of the Mountains 2017 (COTM) for the Indian Armed Forces at Leh, Ladakh and Kargil, featured revered artists Vasu Dixit Collective, Dr. Prakash Sontakke & Team and Col. VD Singh & Uttam Chatterji entertaining the Armed Forces with a musical evening. The event was attended by Lt. Gen PJS Pannu, AVSM, VSM, GOC, Fire and Fury Corps and Maj Gen AS Chowdhry, Chief of Staff along with the Jawans and Officers stationed at Leh. “It was a dream come true for Go Magic Trails to be able to curate and host COTM for the soldiers stationed at some of the highest altitudes. The real heroes are here, striving day and night to keep the rest of us safe and this was our way of giving back. We would like to thank the Fire & Fury Corps for allowing us to come here and entertain the army”, said Uma Sudhindra, Founder, Go Magic Trails. Music has the power to change and transform. Our artists did just that with their performances. We look forward to organizing COTM every year at Leh and aim to involve local artists & artisans in the program to help encourage performing arts in Ladakh”, she added.
