Day 1
Arrival In leh
Fly into Leh from Delhi in the morning. Check in & begin acclimatisation process. Rest in the morning. Lunch. Relaxed afternoon and visit Zorawar Fort in the evening.

Day 2
Sightseeing in Leh
After a nourishing breakfast, late morning visit to one India’s finest museums – Hall of Fame & the War Memorial. Explore how the Indian Army lives in high altitude and protects our borders. Drive up to Sangam to see the confluence of Indus & Zanskar. Back to Leh for lunch & some rest.
Visit Shanti Stupa, a white-coloured domed-shaped structure, which looks extremely beautiful during night when it is illuminated. This peace pillar was built a ‘peace sect’ of Japanese Buddhist organization to celebrate the completion of 2500 years of Buddhism and for the promotion of world peace. Reach there by sunset to enjoy the twilight hour for some great photography. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 03
Visit To nubra Valley
Early morning start to Nubra Valley. You will carry packed breakfast. En route stop over at Khardung La, the highest motorable pass in the world. A brief stopover for photographs and you continue to Diskit. Visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and also the largest Buddhist Gompa in the Nubra Valley. The prayer hall of the monastery consists of a statue of Maitreya Buddha. The monastery’s cupola is same as the Tashilhunpo Monastery of Tibet. Check in to the hotel. Lunch.
Hunder in Nubra Valley is famous for the double hump camels. Spend the afternoon on camel back and enjoy the scenic valley. Dune biking is also available if you are in the mood for some adventure biking. Time permitting, you can also make a trip to Sumur Gompa and village and head back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 04
Visit to Turtuk
After a sumptuous breakfast, head out to Turtuk. India’s last major settlement, Turtuk, has a couple of gompas overlooking the Shyok river. Listen close as locals here speak an interesting Balti language that uses old Tibetan sounds no longer used in modern Tibetan. Get a glimpse of the beauty of Turtuk as you go through this lost little village, India’s northernmost near the Line of Control.
Lunch will be simple Ladakhi fare at a local restaurant and you drive back to Hunder along the beautiful Shyok. There are plenty of places you can stop for photography. Stop to view the highest airfield at Thoise. Back in Hunder for a quiet evening.

Day 05
Pangong Tso
Start early after breakfast from Hunder to drive to Pangong Tso. The drive is beautiful along the Shyok river on one side and mountains on the other. You will reach Pangong Tso by lunch time. Check in to your accommodation. Lunch can be eaten in any of the restaurants along the lake shore. Explore! Night stay at Pangong Tso.

Day 06
Ride through Changla Pass
Start from Pangong Tso after breakfast. Drive through Chang La and head back to Leh by late afternoon. You can eat lunch en route. Quiet evening at the hotel after the long drive.

Day 07
War Memorial At Kargil
Early start to Kargil and reach Kargil for an early lunch. Check into the hotel. Drive to Dras to visit the War Memorial and soak in the courage & bravery of the Indian Army. Return to Kargil for night stay.

Day 08
Lamayuru
Start for Leh after an early breakfast. Stop at Lamayuru to see the old Buddha statue and Monastery. Reach Leh by late afternoon. The option of visiting Leh town is always open in the evening.
